General Info
Guns have serial numbers, this helps to track down owners of guns incase they are lost or involved in a crime.
How?
When you purchase a gun, the seller will register it in the Clerk Computer's weapon registry. Then, if your gun is found at a crime scene, during a search or if you lost it and someone found it, it can be tracked by someone with gun registry access (Often police or gunstore owners).
Scratching out the Serial
You can scratch out the serial too, for that you need one of the following:
- Hunting knife
- Kitchen knife
then, rightclick the gun and click "Scratch out serial", your gun is now untrackable (excluding fingerprinting).
